Keegan Bradley is fiery captain who did not unpack a suitcase from Ryder Cup 2014

Fire wall-held American Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley may have just given himself the opportunity to finally unlock the suitcase that stayed almost 11 years before boundaries.

After experiencing a second consecutive Ryder Cup Nedereer at Gleneagles in 2014, Bradley never promised to unpack his business until he ended in a winning USA team.

That looked increasingly unlikely when the man from Vermont did not return to the team, was controversial for a wildcard in 2023 and was installed a year ago as an American captain.

But exactly a year to the day after he was asked if he wanted to record Ryder Cup’s Captainincy, he achieved a victory that gave him a whole new dilemma.

Bradley, who made the chance to do the work Tiger forests had already been rejected, last year had its chances of being spent the opportunities Ryder Cup’s first player captain since Arnold Palmer Doubled in 1963.

He has become famous for the kind of crazy parties that followed his last victory – releasing a huge roar, shouting a few obscenities to the admiring New England – seizures and breasts that Caddy Scott Vail bump.

When he calmed, a sheepish -looking Bradley confessed: “I still lost it a bit there, isn’t it? I might get into trouble with my mother to use some bad words.”

It would not be the first time.

Although he was known for his fiery nature, Bradley shocked many people with his eruption in the President Cup Team Room of the US, shortly after he had eliminated the winning putt in their victory over the internationals last year.

He roared: “I doubted my whole life, that’s when I do my best work. We go to Bethpage to kick their F *** ING ass.”

Bradley, 39, insists that he will not surrender the American captain, “under all circumstances”.

But he admitted the opportunity to double – and to lean heavier on Vice -Captains Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Kevin Kinner and Jim Furyk to take care of it – is now a real opportunity.

He said: “This changes the story a bit. I would never have thought of playing if I hadn’t won. This certainly opens the door to play.

“I don’t know if I’m going to do it or not, but I should definitely see what is best for the team and we will see.

“I never really intended to play. I really just wanted to be the captain. I really felt a lot of that. I want to serve the boys. They asked me to do a job. I want to do it to the best of the skills.

“Now, with the great vice captains I have, and I have a better perspective on playing in the Presidents Cup and that I am a lot of the boys, I feel much more comfortable when I went that route.”

“It’s only June, so we still have a long way to go. This will certainly change a bit, and we will all come together and find the best way to do this.”
