It takes some doing to outdo the bride when the wedding bill is a staggering £250million, but Kim Kardashian almost managed it on Saturday night.
The TV personality was among the guests when India’s richest man Anant Ambani tied the knot with pharmaceutical executive Radhika Merchant in a grand, star-studded ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
When Kim arrived for the wedding ceremony, dressed in traditional attire, she conjured up images of Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine in a beautiful red dress and matching cape.
The 43-year-old reality star completed her look with emerald jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, including earrings, rings and a beautifully designed headpiece.
Kim met a host of guests at the ceremony, including former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his wife Carrie and their children.

The glamorous, highly anticipated event is said to have cost a staggering £250million, not to mention the estimated £100million the couple spent on lavish wedding gifts and the attendance of some of the world’s most followed celebrities.
In more photos from the wedding scenes, the bride is seen in a heavy cream and red Indian wedding dress, called a lengha, adorned with jewels and a beaded headscarf, as she holds the hands of her new husband, Anant.
The happy groom was photographed beaming at his new wife, wearing a red beaded jacket – called a nehru – as the couple tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony.
As it was one of the largest weddings India has ever seen, police closed the roads around the venue.
Kim previously wowed in a traditional lehenga skirt, adorned with intricate beaded detailing, while sister Khloé stunned in a striking pink ensemble.
As Kim and Khloé, 40, prepared to travel to the wedding’s “divine blessing” ceremony, the sisters were hard to miss in their extravagant outfits.
On Friday, the sisters were spotted at the pre-wedding festivities. The SKIMS founder made a bold move by donning a white bridal ensemble ahead of the big wedding.
Kim shared a glimpse of her glamorous wedding look on Instagram, consisting of a white off-the-shoulder crop top and matching skirt, as she and Khloé hopped in a rickshaw en route to the ceremony.

Justin Bieber performed at a pre-wedding party for guests, known as ‘Sangeet’, and was reportedly paid £7million. According to reports, Adele, Drake or Lana Del Rey will provide the entertainment at Sunday night’s reception.
Ambani, 67, who is the ninth richest man in the world according to Forbes with a fortune of £100 billion, has already gifted the couple a £62 million luxury villa on the Palm Jumeriah in Dubai. The villa is over 3,000 square feet in size, has 10 bedrooms and has its own private beach.
The couple also received a Bentley Continental GTC Speed worth £500,000 and a dazzling collection of bespoke jewellery and clothing worth millions of pounds.
Ambani’s glamorous wife Nita, 60, gave her daughter-in-law a stunning pearl and diamond choker, worth an estimated £10 million. It is just one of dozens of bespoke multi-million pound jewellery pieces created especially for her.
