Kinky Brits crave outdoor adventures and threesomes, our summer sex survey reveals
BRITISH people are diving back into the swinging sixties with a new urge for free love and partner swapping.
The findings are part of The Sun’s Summer Sex Survey, which aims to reveal what motivates the nation.
Non-monogamy is proving to have enormous appeal as we ride a new wave of sexual freedom.
One in ten respondents has ever been to a sex festival and a third would like to experience one.
Ten percent admit to using kinky threesome apps to explore their fantasies, and a quarter have invited a third person into their bed.
As many as 25 percent of us have an ‘open’ holiday policy, where partners are free to have sex while they’re away.
But these are not just superficial relationships.
A quarter of people in polyamorous relationships plan an outing with all their partners at once.
However, loyalty is not always high on the agenda.
Alarmingly, 16 percent admit that summer makes them more likely to cheat, while a third say the number of one-night stands has increased.
Damien Muretti, founder of luxury sex toy company Bednerdswho conducted the research on behalf of The Sun, said: “The findings are fascinating.
“We are witnessing a significant shift in cultural norms, especially when it comes to ethical non-monogamy.”
Here we delve deeper into the results of our revealing poll.
