KitKat’s chocolatiers have teamed up with ice cream giant Peters to create a Drumstick flavored chocolate bar – and fans claim it’s the best yet.
The fun collaboration is inspired by ‘sweet memories of summer’ and will be released in winter, just as warm weather nostalgia kicks in across Australia.
The new KitKat is a twist on the iconic chocolate waffle, topped with a double dose of velvety vanilla and rich chocolate sauce, with caramel-like wafers, covered in a thick chocolate layer.
Chocolate lovers and ice cream fans describe it as the best way to enjoy the taste of the iconic Australian drumstick, without having to worry about it ‘melting and dripping’.
This coveted collaboration is circulating in Australia and is available in a long and thinner block version, as well as the thick bar version.
This flavour clash of two popular classics is scoring high on social media with fans describing it as ‘insane’.
Chocoholics who bit into the surprising flavor for the first time had very good things to say about the new treat.
“That tastes just like the drumstick cone, I’m drooling, wow, it just hit the brain. That’s the best KitKat I’ve ever had,” said one fan.

One fan who had yet to try the bar said: ‘Shut up and take my money where it will be available.’
The chocolate is currently available at Woolworths and will be available in other stores across Australia from the end of July.
