Kmart Australia is bringing back one of its most popular items ever – months after it sold out in record time: here are the details
Kmart Australia has announced the return of a stylish floor lamp that sold like hotcakes when it was launched in February.
The Gigi Floor Lamp was sold out in all stores in February because of its elegant, chic style and budget price. And because it looks very similar to much more expensive ones.
Gigi features a curved stem, marble base and pleated shade that creates warm mood lighting. Similar lamps, including the Lifely Achie Mid-Century Floor Lamp, retail for $299.
It’s very similar to the Kmart purchase.
The lamp is being launched alongside the budget retailer’s August Living line.
You will find luxurious and trendy carpets, mirrors, chairs and small decorative items for a reasonable price.
From Thursday 25th July, customers can be amazed by Kmart’s well thought out and functional range.
As consumers become more concerned with the cost of living, the wide range of products aims to offer simple, yet eye-catching styles in every price range.

Earlier this year, customers raved about the Gigi lamp on social media, with one woman even saying that the lamp looks “even more beautiful” than she had hoped.
Zoe posted a video to a popular Facebook group showing her unboxing and assembling the lamp before placing it in her living room.
“New Kmart Australia $49 Gigi floor lamp – I’m even happier with it than I thought I would be,” she captioned the clip.
Others loved the style, describing the lamp as ‘so beautiful’.
Elsewhere on social media, someone else wrote: “I’m obsessed.”
Someone else added: ‘What a great find!’

Kmart is known for selling affordable products with a similar design to more expensive brands.
The budget retailer previously launched a range of budget homewares that look just like those from a designer brand, but cost hundreds of euros more.
The budget retailer’s new white resin jug and bowl, which cost just $12 each, are also proving popular with buyers.
They say the style is nearly identical to Dinosaur Designs’ $280 rotating stone pitcher and $100 serving platter.
