Landman Trailer: Demi Moore Is Oil Man Jon Hamm’s Fierce Billionaire Wife in New Series from Yellowstone Creator
The first trailer for the new series Landman was released on Thursday morning.
The series is set in West Texas and is from Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone and Lioness.
Demi Moore stands out as the tough, glamorous billionaire wife of Jon Hamm’s tough oil baron Monty Miller.
The 61-year-old actress is seen attending a gala dinner with Hammwho looks pretty in a suit and tie, and who also says, “Roll the dice again,” indicating that she wears the pants in the marriage.
The trailer is led by Billy Bob Thornton, who is first seen and provides the voiceover, working on an oil rig that explodes while warning that the company could kill him.
The show premieres November 17 on Paramount+.

In Landman, Demi plays the formidable wife of Jon’s oil magnate Monty Miller, set against the backdrop of a 21st-century oil boom in Texas.
“Cami is someone who is not involved in the business, but runs his whole life,” Demi said in a recent Vanity Fair ‘to interview.’They are a couple who have built an empire and a family together.
“Jon said to me at one point, ‘I think this is the first time I’ve played a character who is actually in a proper relationship, where there’s real love and commitment and affection,'” she added.
“Her focus is on her family and their social existence. It’s about the ups and downs of keeping him grounded, healthy and safe.”
The star also raved about Taylor, saying he writes “incredible, complex, dynamic and delicious women who are powerful, vulnerable and flawed.

“Taylor works in a very unique way, and every actor he meets — we basically sit down, we hear what he wants to do, where he wants to go, and we have to say yes or no based on that,” she continued. “There’s no script.”
She added: ‘He thinks way ahead. He doesn’t just think about one season. He thinks about an epic story.’
Landman, an adaptation of Taylor’s 2019 podcast Boomtown, also features Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter.
“Cami and Monty did it. They achieved the dream. But it’s one thing to get there, it’s another to keep it. And I think Billy’s character is the one who has to do all the dirty work,” Demi told the outlet.
