A former Los Angeles Police officer has guilty of the murder of a teenage boy and his parents after a drunk driving crash has led to their horrible dead.

Edgar Verduzco, 34, guilty of three counts of murder for driving drunk and killing Maribel and Mario Davila, and their 19-year-old son Oscar on 26 September 2017.

The former LAPD officer rode 150 miles per hour with a 0.08 percent blood alcohol Content on the 605 highway before it hit two vehicles.

Verduzco also guilty of one count of driving under the influence and one counting of driving with a .08 BAC content that causes injury.

Public Prosecutor Nathan Hochman said: “As a police officer, Mr. Verduzco was aware that reckless driving under the influence of alcohol with 150 miles per hour was extremely dangerous for human life and could lead to the death of innocent victims, as the tragic did in this case.”

“Oscar Davila, a beloved student at UC Riverside, was only 19 years old and his life and the lives of his parents were taken meaningless in an instant,” Hochman added.

Verduzco rode a 2016 Chevy Camaro ‘at a high speed’ in Whittier when he finished a scion 2010 and a Nissan from 2014 – while he was in the Carpool Lane on 26 September at 10.15 am.

The impact of the crash ensured that the Nissan burst into flames, causing all three of the passengers to enter tragically.

They were later identified as the 60-year-old Mario Davila, his wife Maribel, 52, and their 19-year-old son, Oscar.

Verduzco suffered a broken nose in the collision.

In the clip – which seemed to be filmed in a bar – a half -finished beer in the background is visible.

Three hours later, Verduzco was taken into custody for manslaughter of vehicles on $ 100,000 bail.

He was released two days later pending the results of the CHP research.

The social media account also contained photos of Verduzco in his LAPD uniform and its official American army portrait.

Verduzco is a veteran who had served in the army for three years.

Mario and Maribel Davila are survived by three living sons.

Oscar, the youngest child of the couple, was a recent graduate high school who worked as a tutor at his Alma Mater, John W. North High School.

The driver of the scion involved in the crash, Berly Alvarado, 31, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Verduzco is planned for conviction on July 11 and is confronted with three similar conditions of 15 years to life in prison for murder and one simultaneous three -year period for drunk driving.
