Leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 images show back with sharper angles
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to launch later this year as a successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The book-style foldable smartphone could launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 at a Galaxy Unpacked event in July. While no details have been officially confirmed about the devices, reports and leaks have suggested several key features about them. Recently, partial design images of the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 6 have appeared online. A few more recent design leaks show other partial images that hint at key design elements.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 design (expected)
In one of the leaks, tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) shared a render of the cover screen of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, alongside the existing Galaxy Z Fold 5. The render of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 can be seen with square, angular edges instead of the rounded edges of the current-generation foldable phone. This design is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Another leaked cause According to the same tipster as X user Anthony (@TheGalox_), the alleged rear panel of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could feature a larger, circular rear camera than the existing model.
The renders shared by the tipster suggest the rear cameras are still vertically aligned, but the images suggest a slimmer, elliptical island. The edges of the handset in this render also appear more squared off than those on the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
