The image showed that she had received a Dolce Gusto coffee maker, a Bluetooth headset, a charging and date cable, a nail clipper, sports underwear, a pair of ski gloves and a thermal hybrid jacket.

She also received a voucher for a free dehumidifier.

“Definitely worth the £20!!”

When she was inundated with questions from people asking how she got her hands on the box set, she wrote: “They sold out the day of release.

“It seems I got lucky, not only because I got the mystery box, but also because there was a ticket inside for an extra item!

“I’ll keep you posted as soon as it comes out.”

The boxes were each filled with over £100 worth of products, priced similar to those from Lidl. They were released at 10am on 15th August and sold out within minutes.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts?

IF you have ever shopped at Aldi or Lidl, you have probably experienced the super-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s reputation as a fast supermarket is not without reason. The supermarket chain even claims that its checkouts are 40 percent faster than those of competitors.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible, which, the budget retailer claims, helps keep costs down for customers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging allow employees to scan items as quickly as possible. Most products have multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

Shelf-ready packaging is also used, keeping replenishment costs low.

“Wow, what a beautiful box!” someone commented on the post.

“I was bummed that it sold out before I could see it!”

“I stood in the ‘checkout line’ for a long time, then I was thrown out and told I was no longer available,” sighed another.

A third said “people are selling them on eBay for £65”.
