LinkedIn’s new AI features help you find the right job

LinkedIn is rolling out several new artificial intelligence (AI) features to help users with job searches and personalized learning on the platform. The AI-powered features, announced Thursday, include a Jobseeker Coach that can find users the right job via a text prompt, a tool to review resumes and applications, a chatbot that can interactively assist in creating cover letters and help with finding professional advice. The features are currently rolling out globally to the platform’s Premium users.

For example, users can type, “Find me a cybersecurity job within my network” or “Find me a UI/UX designer job in Bengaluru that pays at least Rs. 10 lakh per annum,” and the AI ​​will search through its database to make helpful suggestions. Users can also use it to implement ways to stand out in search results.

LinkedIn is also adding a tool that can review users’ applications and resumes to help them stand out. The AI ​​will provide constructive feedback and personalized suggestions that can be tailored to specific job openings. Additionally, the tool will also help improve the cover letter by providing recommendations that can be manually reviewed and edited.

The platform is also adding a number of tools to help professionals get advice and learn new skills. Expert advice is a new feature that will allow LinkedIn Premium users to get personalized advice from business leaders and coaches. These AI bots are trained by real experts, the company claims.

Finally, a personalized coaching feature will help users as they take new courses on the platform.
