‘Literally nothing could have prepared me,’ women cry over failed online shopping
A shopping fanatic was thrilled when she received a beautiful dress she ordered in the mail, but what was delivered left her confused.
Not only did the style look nothing like what was pictured, but other women admitted they couldn’t have prepared for the less luxurious item that took its place.
Fashion-conscious Evita (@eviitaa_x) loves extravagant outfits and dresses, but sometimes the price is just a little too evening-out.
Alternatively, she buys expensive dresses online for a lower price.
She shared in a viral TikTok video that what she ordered was absolutely not what she got.
As the video started, she showed a close-up of the original garment she had ordered on her phone.
“What I order versus what I get,” the screen read.
The image showed a floor-length silver dress with a high asymmetrical slit on the right side and a sheer train at the back.
CLOTHING DISASTER
The sequin and diamond details were accentuated by the plunging sweetheart neckline and one-shoulder sleeve.
Although it was a beautiful dress, it was definitely not what Evita expected.
“There was literally nothing that could have prepared me for what you received because WHAT???,” one TikTok user responded.
When she pulled the camera back to show it, she couldn’t help but laugh.
The TikToker posed with one hand on her hip and held the phone close to her body for a direct comparison.
Instead of a breathtaking multi-layered robe, she wore what looked like a white sheet with a drawing of a dress on it.
The sheet-like fabric did not accentuate her body shape like the original dress did.
It was a light pink shade that differed from the commercial and had black, white, and gray pixelated dots added on top.
The side slit was so high that it reached her intimate area and she had to wear white biker shorts in the video to cover herself, while showing this to the viewers.
The camera also moved closer, revealing that even the flesh had been drawn on to mimic the skin around the chest and arm.
“That’s crazy. The skin inserts! The best ever!” commented another TikToker.
It looked more like a Halloween costume than a designer dress.
REAL REACTIONS
Viewers couldn’t help but voice their opinions on this blunder.
“It’s like they sent you a drawing of the photo of the dress,” one person wrote.
“I hope this was a REALLY BIG CASE… I want to know the price,” asked another.
“A lot more than you would expect,” she replied.
Others found the situation funny.
“It’s literally the same thing. I don’t get it,” someone joked.
“How did you know the difference?” asked another.
