Liverpool-Mede-owner LeBron James Slams ‘SENSENSES ACT’ by title Parade after the driver was plowed by supporters

Los Angeles Lakers -Ster and Liverpool FC sub-owner LeBron James has posted a statement after the horrific incident at the Reds party parade where a car plowed in supporters.

Just after 6 p.m., the shocking incident unfolded Street in the heart of the Liverpool city center, while thousands of fans took the streets to celebrate the triumphant season of their team.

James, who has been a partner in Fenway Sports Group since 2021 and held an interest in the club in April 2011, posted his response to his account on X (formerly Twitter) took place hours after the tragedy.

Shortly after the incident initially happened, Liverpool issued a club statement with their ‘full support for the emergency services’ that handle the incident.

It said: ‘We have direct contact with MerseSide Police Regarding the incident on Water Street that took place earlier tonight towards the end of the trophy parade.

‘Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this serious incident. We will continue to offer our full support to the emergency services and local authorities that have to do with this incident. “

A number of other Premier League clubs have also published answers to the horrible act.

Liverpool’s Rivals Everton – also based in Merseyside – published the following explanation: “Our thoughts are affected by this serious incident in our city.”

The official account of Manchester United on the platform wrote: “Our thoughts are at @LFC and the city of Liverpool after today’s terrible incident.”

A Premier League statement was: ‘Everyone at the Premier League is shocked by the terrible events in Liverpool tonight, and our sincere thoughts are going to all those injured and affected. We had contact with Liverpool FC and have offered our full support after this serious incident.

Burnley’s official X account responded to Liverpool’s post: “Our thoughts are with everyone at Liverpool FC and those who have been affected.”

Similarly, the official report of Nottingham Forest wrote: “Our thoughts are with everyone at Liverpool FC and those who are affected.”

Manchester City wrote: “The thoughts of everyone in Manchester City are with the injured or affected by the incident in the title -winning parade of Liverpool earlier today.”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino added: ‘Football stands together with Liverpool FC and all fans of the club after the horrific incident that took place during the trophy parade in the city. From everyone on FIFA we offer our thoughts and prayers to everyone who is affected. ‘

Allegedly several people were injured, with four people being seen on stretchers, while another man was depicted who leaned heavily on a police officer in support.

Authorities say both Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Minister of the Interior Yvette Cooper are fully informed about the development situation.

Harry Rashid, 48, from Solihull, was on the parade with his wife and two young daughters when he witnessed the collision.

He said: ‘It happened about 10 feet of ours. We were just in a crowd and we had no control over where we would be because it was a very narrow street.

“The vehicle came to the right. It came from exactly right next to an ambulance that was parked. This Gray People, carrier just stopped from the right and just rammed in all people on the side of us.

‘It drove to the south, through Water Street, directly to this strand, that is where the docks are.

“It was extremely fast. Initially we just heard the doll, doll, doll from people who are simply beaten from the hood of a car. ‘

P.M Keir Starmer Said: ‘The scenes in Liverpool are terrible – my thoughts are with all those injured or affected.

‘I want to thank the police and emergency services for their rapid and continuous response to this shocking incident.

The frightening scenes unfolded only a few hours after the Liverpool FC trophy parade started at 2 p.m., with stars, including Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, leading parties on top of the open-top bus.

Chelsea Yuen witnessed the incident and told Sky News: ‘It was full we were packed that we were like sardines and then we heard squeaking and screaming. When we looked up, there was a black human carrier who drove straight to us.

‘Me and my friend jumped out of the way and pulled our child out of the way.

‘It must have gone 30 km / h. The windows were all smashed by people who hit the car.

‘Police Riot buses on the spot. People who hit them and tell the police that they have to do something and help. Stewards said that back -up would come and suddenly the police and ambulance come from everywhere.

“There were children everywhere. It was a family celebration, it is just very shocking what happened.

“It was so full that you couldn’t get through. There was one riot of the top and while we walked further to the train station, there were more trucks and ambulances that came from every road. But because it was so full, they couldn’t get through it.

“We are really shaken. My friend’s daughter cried when we came closer to people on the floor at the top of the street. We just had to keep walking and come from the area. We didn’t know what else would come.

‘Everyone sustained Water Street because they had opened the barriers of the strict. People went on their way to train stations and tried to get home. ‘

A spokesperson for the Liverpool city council said: ‘We are currently maintained with the police of Merseyside about an incident in Water Street in the city center. Updates to follow. ‘

A statement by North West Ambulance reads: ‘NWAS supports an incident in the city center of Liverpool, after reporting a clash of traffic.

‘We are currently assessing the situation and work together with other members of the emergency services. Our priority is to ensure that people receive the medical help they need as quickly as possible. “

In a statement that was released shortly after the incident, the police confirmed: ‘We are currently dealing with reports from a collision of traffic in the Liverpool city center.

The incident disfigured a day intended for celebration among Liverpool supporters after their club had sealed a historic 20th league title.
