Logie Awards 2024: Viewers criticize ‘irrelevant’ ceremony, endless The Voice commercials: ‘Does anyone care?’
The Logie Awards got off to a spectacular start on Sunday evening.
But not everyone watching the broadcast was impressed, with many Channel Seven viewers laughing at the show.
The Australian television broadcasts were received by some as a great success and several people shared their thoughts about X.
‘Is anyone even going to see the Logies? Apart from Sam Pang I have zero interest,’ someone wrote.
Another agreed: ‘I just said to the woman. How can the Logies still exist?’
‘The Logies is so f***ing funny bro. It seems like the only people who actually care are the celebrities involved. And at the event itself, it’s only worth watching for the Twitter feed,’ someone else said.
“God, are the Logies STILL happening?” one viewer joked with a crying, laughing emoji.
“Is there anyone who doesn’t work in television who cares about logic these days?” someone asked.

“These are certainly the most irrelevant awards out there,” they added.
Many were annoyed by the frequent promotion for Channel Seven’s reality series The Voice during the show.
“What’s with that Voice promo during the red carpet discussion?” one viewer asked.
‘I want to watch the Logies. Not The Voice. How dare they promote us like this!’
Someone else chimed in: ‘Oh god. How much more The Voices do we have to watch tonight?’

Another jokingly added: “I’m not going to watch The Voice.”
‘Of course Channel 7 should promote their next show at the Logies,’ posted someone else.
‘The Logies is like a really long first episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. Every few minutes you’re thinking who the f**k is that,’ joked another.
Some at home enjoyed the show, but online there was a lot of praise for host Sam Pang.
‘Sam Pang is absolutely amazing again with his opening monologue. No limits,’ someone posted.
Another said: ‘No one is safe when Sam Pang is the host. Poor Leann Rimes would cry… And I’m all for it.’
However, many viewers praised presenter Sam Pang (pictured)
