“We had Triple H here last year in this building to talk to [Mayor] Sadiq Khan About exactly that, about doing more things here.
“So we had Smackdown and RAW, and some of their other events in London.
“London is not only this platform for fans of London and British fans, but for people from all over the world.
“You know, you have Wrestlemania fans worldwide, so that would be great.”
Asked if it might happen within the next five to ten years, Dawber replied: “I’m going to say why not? Why not?
“Again, we made it clear. We have a relationship. There is clearly a big fan base here. A large fan base throughout Europe. Why not?
“You have to start these conversations with ‘let’s talk about it’. People say: ‘Ah, it will never leave the US’. Then it will go to Canada.
Wrestlemania can come to London
“It’s like you’re going to do Europe ever, let’s make it as easy as possible.
“One of the things we have been really good at is to put together bids for great things.
“Whether that is large conferences at the Excel, where we get involved in bringing bids together to organize things such as large American medical conferences.
“Or that it is the World Cup ladies. Or the final of the Champions League.
“Having the mayor’s office support and helping to coordinate things next to the locations makes a real difference.
“It is one of the things we can do to bring tourists, business visitors and money to the city.”
