The Primark store in East Kilbridge, Scotlandhas uploaded a video showing off their puffball skirts – also known as bubble skirts – which come in two colors.

The @primark_eastkilbride account showed how you could choose them in black or white.

And luckily they’re not expensive, costing just £12.

They added: “Perfect for (whatever’s left) summer And back to school.”

The clip has received hundreds of likes, but people were divided in the comments.

A customer said: “My friend buys white and black and so do I.”

Another tagged his friend and said, “I’m calling your name.”

Others disagreed, however. One said: “It looks like Victorian children’s trousers.”

Puffball skirts were a feature from the 80s, but were also a permanent part of the 2000s.

The skirt is easily recognizable by its voluminous hem and has been seen on the catwalk for the past three seasons, when Miu Miu wore the skirt.

‘It’s 2024,’ people cry as Primark brings back the 90s brand that ‘got them bullied at school’

Celebrities like Selena Gomez and Sabrina Carpenter have been spotted in the modest bubble skirt in 2024.

Primark customers also noted that the store has entered into a unique partnership with a ’90s brand that reminds them of their school days.

Primark, known for its affordable everyday collections from fashion to homewares, recently entered into a partnership with Kappa.

In the 1980s and 1990s, sports brand Kappa became popular after signing sponsorship deals with top football teams such as Juventus, AC Milan and FC Barcelona.

This means that many Britons growing up during that time likely owned something from the sports brand.

Now Primark is bringing the brand back into the spotlight by entering into a collaboration with the brand.

From sweatpants to tracksuits and sports bags, the clothing retailer believes the clothes are perfect for ‘going to the gym or hanging out with friends’.

Speaking of Kappa, Primark’s website states: “Dive into the latest trends in Kappa x Primark sportswear with our exciting collaboration collection.

All the trends from the 90s that are coming back

WE may be living in 2024, but fashion fans are looking to the past when it comes to new styles. So which ’90s trends are making a comeback today?

Claw clamps

These hair accessories were a huge trend in the 90s, but are now most popular among those trying out the “clean girl” aesthetic. Designers like Prada have released their own versions, while there are thousands of colours and styles to choose from on the high street.

Platform slippers

These heels were also a popular choice among fashionistas in the 90s. Now they are back and designers like Balenciaga have tried their luck with their own style.

Cargo pants

Once worn by the stars of All Saints, cargo pants became a popular trend for teens in the 90s. But they’ve now undergone a fashion overhaul, with stars like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber all putting their own spin on the trend.

Jeans and a nice top

It was the phrase that defined fashion for a decade, and now famous faces like Sofia Richie are wearing the reinvented trend – pairing their own denim with a more refined top. But are you willing to pull out your jeans and pretty tops for a second time?

“From iconic styles of Kappa x Primark joggers, perfect for any casual outing, to tanks, socks and comfy Kappa x Primark hoodies, ideal for layering.”

Primark in Bracknell, Berkshire shared a video on TikTok of their collection that just hit the store.

But the collection received mixed reactions, with some simply asking, “why?”

One of them wrote: “In the past, if you wore Kappa, you were worried and poor.”

Another added: “It’s 2024, people.”

A third commented: “When I used to go to school and wear your kappa, you would get beaten up.”
