Lorenzo Musetti receives warning after kicking tennis ball at Line Judge during the French open quarterfinals collision with Frances Tiafoe

Italian tennis star Lorenzo Musetti shocked fans after he kicked a tennis ball at a line judge in his French open Quarter -final match against Frances Tiafoe.

Musetti is not the favorites to win the tournament, but was tipped to reach the last four when he stood opposite World No 17 Tiafoe.

He ran in the game early in the game and won the first set 6-2 to give himself a comfortable advantage after he broke his opponent twice.

However, the second set was not to plan, with the Italian began to show his frustrations on the field before it went too far and he kicked a ball with an line judge.

Images showed the 23-year-old who struggled to pick up a ball while he received a series of balls to serve, and he took out and kicked the ball away from him while he continued to bounce.

Musetti is open on his best run in the French and has so far won two singles titles in his career.

He reached Wimbledon’s semi -final last year and hoped to match the channel on Tuesday.
