Former Coronation Street star Ryan, 37, is also the father of Scarlett, 13, from his relationship with Tina O’Brien.
Lucy told it before HELLO! Magazine that she was convinced she was pregnant with a girl, and was delighted when a scan confirmed her suspicions.
‘I suspected I was having a girl, but I was a bit more insecure than with Roman. With him, I just knew — I don’t know why, but even before we knew it, I said, “I know, one hundred percent, it’s a boy,” Lucy said.

The couple also revealed in the interview that they were struggling to come up with names for their daughter, explaining how they picked a long list of 15 but would wait until she was born to decide.
In March, Lucy notified fans of her son Roman’s health and revealed that he had fluid in his lungs.
She previously shared how their son spent a week in intensive care last September after Lucy found the two-year-old ‘blue in his crib’.
Although Lucy and Ryan were allowed to take him home a week after his admission, Roman has been monitored regularly since then and the results show that fluid enters the toddler’s lungs when he drinks.

Admitting it was a conclusion she felt “really weird about,” she continued, “I’m sorry for Roman. Now, as of Monday, when we pick up the thickener, he shouldn’t have any thin liquids for a very long time – possibly years.
‘So no lollipops and ice creams, no water or juice. Everything should have a very thick consistency to prevent it from entering his lungs.
She revealed that when she checked the baby monitor an hour later, something “didn’t feel right”:
“He was moving very slowly, from side to side, and I thought, this doesn’t feel right and I want to go see him.”
Families: The couple are already parents to son Roman, two – and Ryan, 37, is father to Scarlett, 13, from his relationship with Tina O’Brien
It was then that she found Roman ‘blue in his bed’ and he was rushed to Basildon Hospital and St Mary’s in London.
Speaking of the staff, Lucy was moved to say: ‘They were absolutely amazing and I have to thank them and the EMS for coming so quickly, to keep my son here and it’s actually quite emotional to talk about that.’
Her son was diagnosed with virally induced wheezing and now needs an inhaler twice a day.
She added: “I don’t know this for a fact, but Roman was born ten days before Covid and because he was kept so isolated – literally six months in isolation – he didn’t have a chance to fight off viruses.
“When he was in the hospital, the test came back that he had six viruses, so what looked like a runny nose to me was six viruses, so that’s what his little body had to fight against and that’s possibly why he was so bad and got to the stage where a ventilator is needed.
‘I said yes!’ Lucy and Ryan met five years ago on the Channel 4 reality series, The Island with Bear Grylls before getting engaged during a romantic holiday in Italy two years later when Lucy was pregnant with Roman
“But it does make you think, if he had been in a normal world in the beginning, he would have been able to fight those viruses.”

Lucy joked that despite their long engagement, the couple is far from getting married because they haven’t had time to organize a wedding.
In March, Lucy shocked her Instagram followers when she shared a photo of a set of keys, captioned: ‘New house, new project, new memories to be made.
‘@ryanthomas84 bought our new house in Manchester without me seeing it, he is a very brave man hahahah!!!’
Though she joked that her fiancé was a “brave man,” his risk seemed to pay off when she gushed, “It’s just perfect! Edwardian, lots of potential. Can’t wait to get started on the renovation!!
