Lying in a cow shed and cleaning it can cure cancer, claims UP minister
NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Sanjay Singh Gangwar claimed on Sunday that lying in a stable and cleaning it can cure cancer.
He also said that stroking a cow’s back can help lower blood pressure blood pressure. Gangwar made these remarks at the inauguration of the Kanha Gaushala in Nougawa Pakadiya, which cost Rs 55 lakh to build.
Gangwar explained, “If there is a blood pressure patient, there are cows here. The person should pat and serve a cow on his back every morning and evening. If the person takes a 20 mg dose of blood pressure medicine, it will come down to 10 mg within 10 days.”
Regarding cancer, he added: “If a cancer patient goes and cleans a cowshed and lies there, even cancer can be cured. cow manure cakes, you will get relief from mosquitoes. Everything a cow produces is useful in some way.”
The minister also commented on the issue of stray cattle, saying, “We are not serving our mother, so the mother is harming us somewhere.” He urged Muslims to celebrate Eid in the cowshed, and suggested that Eid delicacies be made with cow’s milk.
The newly inaugurated gaushala includes facilities for fodder, medicine and shelter for needy cows. Gangwar appealed to people to connect with the gaushalas and consider celebrating personal events such as wedding anniversaries and children’s birthdays by donating fodder.
Gangwar has a varied political history, having contested the 2012 Assembly elections with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), later joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and winning seats from Pilibhit in 2017 and 2022. He is known for his controversial comments and criticism of former BJP MP Varun Gandhi.
