Major clothing brand with dozens of British stores announces the closure of the Hoofdstraat to appoint customers

A popular clothing brand with 60 branches in the United Kingdom has announced that it will close another store for the removal of customers.
Regatta, who sells outdoor clothing and equipment, closes a store in Dundee, Scotland – just over two years after the big opening in the city.
The announcement is the newest blow for the British High Street and after a number of retailers, including Sports Direct, JD Sports, New Look and WHSmith, also announced closures.
A ‘closure sale’ recently appeared at the entrance of the Regatta Outlet in Dundee’s Overgate Center – where the brand only took over the space of Oasis in 2022.
Since then, customers have shared their disappointment about the loss of the store on social media.
One person wrote: “There will not be anything else left here.”
“Many more units will close soon,” added another.
In February last year, Regatta, one of the go-to brands for all things outside, also a shop in Chatham, Kent.

The brand said at the time that it did not take this decision ‘light’, but it came from declining customer visits to the store.
It comes after it was revealed in January that WH Smith was in conversation to sell his entire High Street activities in Great -Britain after 233 years.
