Major coffee brand now available on EasyJet flights, thanks to the launch of a new range of in-flight drinks
Holidaymakers who enjoy a caffeine hit during their flights may be pleased with EasyJet’s new offers.
Flight attendants no longer serve standard pots of filter coffee, with the airline now serving Costa Coffee branded drinks on all flights.
According to the airline, customers can enjoy Costa Coffee drinks on all 1,184 EasyJet routes covering 170 destinations in 35 countries.
To celebrate the launch, Costa Coffee’s Master of Coffee, Gennaro Pelliccia, surprised holidaymakers on board an EasyJet flight from London Gatwick to Rome with a ‘special coffee experience’ at 30,000 feet.
Passengers were treated to free goodie bags and complimentary drinks from the new inflight range.

Travelers can choose from a selection that includes a salted caramel latte and a classic, frothy cappuccino, as well as an Americano, decaf Americano and a regular latte.
The on-board menu has been developed in collaboration with EasyJet.
The price of a cup of coffee on UK flights ranges from £3.75 to £3.95.
Pelliccia commented: ‘It has been a real pleasure to bring the Costa Coffee experience to life in the air.
‘Sharing a cup of perfect coffee with passengers during their journey to Rome was a dream come true.

On Twitter, poster Trevor Goldsmith called the news “great”, while others asked if they could use the Costa app onboard flights.
Costa Coffee’s official account clarified: ‘You cannot collect beans/use the app. – Sorry!’
