Major Pixel Watch 3 leak could reveal design, key features, band options
With the Google Pixel Watch 3 set to be unveiled on Tuesday, August 13, the leaks continue to pour in. The latest unofficial image dump showcases the likely design, features, and band options for the upcoming wearable.
This last series of images comes from regular tipsters Evan Blassand adds to what we already know about the smartwatch. It will come in two sizes for the first time, and Google is apparently shrinking the bezels as well.
One of the more interesting images in the collection shows what appears to be a live feed from a video doorbell, presumably one of Google’s Nest doorbells, so it appears that previous rumors about this new feature of the Pixel Watch 3 have turned out to be true.
We also get a look at some of the refreshed watch face options coming with the 2024 hardware upgrade and accompanying Wear OS 5 update. We’ve heard before that watch faces would support larger displays and more information, and that’s clearly on display here.
Briefings and feedback
When the Pixel Watch 3 launches, we’re expecting it to come with some improved health monitoring features, including a Morning Brief feature that will give you a summary to start your day. An image of this is included in the leaks.
It looks like real-time running metrics and feedback will also be available on the Pixel Watch 3, which is something else shown off in this leak. For example, you’ll be able to see stats that indicate a current pace and a pace goal.
As for the images of the straps, we can see a number of different types of straps in cream, green, dark grey, red, and pink. These match up with a more detailed leak about the strap options and color options that appeared late last month.
Naturally, we’ll be covering Google’s event live on Tuesday, and in addition to the Pixel Watch 3, we’ll also get our first official look at the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (the successor to the Google Pixel Fold).
