A mother and her young son were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Wollongong Road in Arncliffe, NSWAround 8.45 am on Monday after receiving reports, a vehicle collided with pedestrians.
Both the mother, 35 and her eight -year -old son were treated on the spot for serious injuries.
The woman sustained possible injuries on her legs and hips and was brought to St George Hospital in a stable state.
Paramedics believed that the young youngsters were sustaining injuries on his legs, abdomen and pelvic region.
Ambulance censuses brought him Sydney Children’s hospital in Randwick also in a stable state.
The driver who was reportedly involved in the incident remained on site and helped the police.
“The police speak with the driver, a woman, 43 years old,” said a spokeswoman for the NSW police.
The police started an investigation into the cause of the crash.
