Man charged with murder after woman is found dead in a unit in South West Rocks, NSW
A man will appear in court charged with the murder of a 70-year-old woman on NSW’s mid-north coast.
Police found the woman’s body at a unit in South West Rocks, about 20 miles north of Kempsey, after being called there at around 8am on Friday.
Officers arrested a 59-year-old man at the scene.
They say he was known to the victim.
Detectives have set up Strike Force Nundroo to investigate the woman’s death and have charged the man with murder.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Port Macquarie Bail Court on Saturday.
