Man stabbed in Bunnings car park in Bundamba, Queensland

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in a car park in Bunnings.

The attack took place at around 4.10pm on Friday at the store in Bundamba, near Ipswich in Queensland.

The man, believed to be 37 years old, suffered stab wounds to his arm and abdomen, but was taken to hospital in stable condition.

It is suspected that he was involved in an altercation with a group of men in the parking lot, who fled in a dark-colored SUV.

Police are investigating the incident and determining whether a screwdriver or small knife was used in the attack.

The victim has not yet been contacted and is currently recovering at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
