Mario Balotelli is no stranger to controversy and has been involved in a new incident involving his manager at Adana Demirspor, Vincenzo Montella.
At the height of Adana Demirspor’s 1-0 victory in the Turkish Super Lig over Umraniye on Saturday, Balotelli provoked a furious reaction from his Italian coach who saw an explosive split between the pair.
The former Manchester City striker appeared to make a comment to Montella that angered the Demirspor manager so much that he had to be restrained by staff and players.

During the altercation, the two almost came to blows when Montella tried to lash out at 32-year-old Balotelli and they were only separated when the staff around them intervened and pulled them apart.
Balotelli is experiencing a renaissance in Turkey following his move from Monza to Adana Demirspor in 2021. The Italian scored 19 goals for the Turkish side last season, his second-highest season return after scoring 24 for Nice in 2017-18.
It is not the first time Balotelli has been involved in a clash with his manager. While at Manchester City, he infamously argued with Roberto Mancini during training and had to be removed from the pitch.

The former Italy international also made headlines for all the wrong reasons during his stint in Manchester when he accidentally set his bathroom on fire after setting off fireworks in his home.
He won a Premier League medal at Manchester City and famously assisted Sergio Aguero for City’s famous winning goal against QPR in 2012.
Balotelli would later go to AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza before his move to Turkey.
