Mark Zuckerberg and his wife unveil their extravagant new ‘his and hers’ Porsches – including the self-designed Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has posted photos of a pair of specially designed Porsches on social media for both him and his wife Priscilla Chan.
Zuckerberg said he designed the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan with Porsche designers and the firm West Coast Customs, a Southern California-based auto body shop that specializes in customizing classic and luxury cars.
The Cayenne resembles the regular SUV, but with a significantly extended chassis to create more interior space, along with fully custom sliding doors.
The couple have three children and Priscilla wanted something stylish to drive the kids around in and still be able to get behind the wheel of a Porsche.

The company doesn’t currently make a minivan, but if Zuckerberg’s custom design proves popular, the automaker may consider introducing a new line.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg bought a manual GT3 Touring, which sells for about $180,000 new.
‘New side mission. Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I designed something that I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT minivan,” Zuckerberg wrote.
“I threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers. Thank you @porsche and @westcoastcustoms for helping us make this possible,” the Facebook founder added.
In a video posted to Instagram, it appears the custom Cayenne has been retrofitted with power sliding doors, similar to those found in a regular minivan.

Priscilla Chan, Mark Zuckerberg’s wife, seemed particularly happy with her new ride
It is not known how the interior of the car has been modified.
Porsche has “a ‘special requests’ department called Sonderwunsch, which allows customers to have their car customized to their specific wishes,” a company spokesperson explains.
It is not known how much Zuckerberg, who is worth $202 billion, paid for the vehicles, but a regular Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT SUV can be purchased for around $200,000.
The design provoked mixed reactions online.
“This is insane… insanely cool or insanely terrible depending on how you look at it,” one commenter wrote.
“He said they wanted a Porsche minivan, but that looks more like a Porsche limousine. It seems too long and impractical to me,” wrote another.
“Just for perspective. As for the financial impact, even if this car cost him $500,000, for him it’s like you or me buying a Starbucks coffee…,” a third added.
“I’m thinking terrible taste but great execution,” a fourth posted.
Zuckerberg turned 40 in July. The couple has three daughters, Maxima, August and Aurelia

Both cars appear to have a matching light gray finish in a color Porsche describes as ‘Crayon’.
In the past, Zuckerberg has been pictured in much more low-key vehicles, including a black Acura TSX, a Volkswagen Golf GTI hatchback and a Honda Fit – all worth around $30,000.
However, Meta’s CEO is known to have dropped a whopping $1 million on an Italian Pagani Huayra.
