Marks & Spencer hits the style jackpot again with new leopard print jeans
It’s that time of year again.
The moment when we put away our airy dresses and sandals and bring out our knitwear and boots.
And Marks & Spencer has already scooped the top prize with a new leopard print pair of jeans, perfect for autumn.
The Plymouth store took over TikTok to take a look at the pants, which are flared and have a trendy animal print.
“New, trendy and a must have for fall,” the video caption read.
“Do you want to be a leopard print girl this fall 24?”
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “Loveeeeee I really need to buy this OMG!”
“They look like they have the perfect shape,” added another.
“The point is these M&S jeans are honestly the best jeans ever!” said a third.
“Oh my god that is a really beautiful leopard print design,” said someone else.
“I love them oh my god!!” wrote another.
“These are perfect,” said someone else.
“Too bad I can’t find them,” wrote another.
The store responded, “They are currently out of stock online.
“But it’s worth checking your local store’s website and setting up an email reminder.”
“Sold out all over London,” someone else added.
“I’m so sorry, hopefully they’ll be back in stock online soon!” M&S replied.
“They should be in stores in October, so keep an eye out for them.”
“I tested supermarket jeans and my favorite is a Levi’s dupe”
Jeans are an essential item of clothing for everyone, but can the supermarket brands compare to the iconic Levi’s?
Fabulous deputy fashion editor Abby McHale tested and compared four styles. Here’s her verdict…
“As a teenager I wore Topshop’s Joni skinny jeans and bought my first pair of Levi’s in my early twenties.
But now, nearly 30, there’s nothing I love more than a pair of supermarket jeans. They’re a bargain and really comfortable. They also last a long time, unlike my £100 Levi’s (so much for the fact that they last forever).
I am a fan of the jeans from the supermarket, but how good are they compared to the jeans in more expensive stores?
Here I compare a range of styles, from skinny and straight to cargo and wide leg, and give my verdict and ratings.
- Bleached flared trousers, F&F at Tesco, £22.50 – 5/5
- Skinny, George at Asda, £17 – 3/5
- Freight, M&S, £45 – 4/5
- Straight Leg, Tue at Sainsbury’s, £20 – 4/5
I knew there was a reason I loved supermarket jeans so much and I don’t think this comparison test changed that much. And with some styles it’s really hard to tell the difference.
The Sainsbury’s Straight Leg jeans are a knock-off of Levi’s, but cost £20 instead of £100!”
The product description on the M&S website reads: “With their striking animal print, these pure cotton jeans are a real eye-catcher for your casual wardrobe.
“Wide legs and a trendy high waist.
“The five-pocket design offers plenty of storage space, while the button and zip closure ensure a neat finish.”
The jeans are currently available online in sizes 6 to 12 in the regular size and 8 to 12 in the petite size.
Only size 10 is in stock in the long length.
If you are not afraid of a leopard print, you can also go for another color. You can choose from ecru and chocolate brown.
And they’re even a little cheaper at £35 a pair.
