Marsfield, Sydney: Mother and teenage daughter found dead in Menzies Road home
Jennifer Carrig, 53, and her daughter were discovered in their Menzies Road home in Marsfield, just after 10.20am on Thursday, following reports of concerns about social services.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
A neighbour told Daily Mail Australia that the woman who lived in the home was “very friendly and nice”.

He said that Jennifer’s daughter had developmental disabilities and that the mother had recently renovated her home.
Another neighbor said that Jennifer used to babysit him and that he had known her all his life.
“It’s sad,” he said.
A crime scene has been established and detectives have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
