Marvel -rivals Season 2.5 is now only a few hours away and is ready to add Ultron as a brand new strategist. It looks like this new season – or the half season – could be one for the books, given the planned changes to a number of heroes, the addition of new team -ups and even a new card to play on.
I will cover the construction of the launch of season 2.5 in the next 24 hours, prior to downtime and then share my thoughts as soon as it is all live.
Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Important info
Netease has been busy teasing the Next season of Marvel -rivals in the past week or so, now the Ultron kit, as well as a deep dive in the Upcoming Patchnotities and Balance Changes. There is also a new card to look at, which seems to be the dark and mysterious cave of the villain X-Tron. If my early impressions are correct, season 2.5 will seriously shake up the meta Competitive modeand even a few heroes could be on my Marvel -rivals Frame.
After having treated live last season, I look forward to seeing how things come out this time. Since the launch I have been playing hundreds of hours Marvel -rivalsMainly in competitive mode. Recently I have focused on Luna Snow and Magneto as my main courses, but Ultron will definitely try on the launch day to see if he is measuring or not.

Marvel -rivals Season 2.5 launches May 30 at 5 am Edt / 2 hours PDT / 10.00 am BST.
Servers then go for “2-3 hours” before the new season is available for all players. As such I estimate season 2.5 to play next time:
- May 30 at 5 am pt: West Coast us
- May 30 at 8 am et: East Coast us
- May 30 at 1 p.m. BST: United Kingdom
- May 30 at 2 p.m. CET: Central Europe
- May 30 at 9 p.m. JST: Japan
Marvel Rivals Ultron
The most important update Marvel -rivals Season 2.5 is Ultron, who joins the game as a new strategist. He is a flying character with a laser beam attack with an unlimited range. His capacities enable him to protect teammates, add drones to them to further shield, and his ultimate ignite a series of explosions that cure teammates and at the same time damage enemies.
It seems that Ultron will have a great synergy with other flying characters and have a new team with Iron-Man. We will have to wait and see if he will be a feasible choice besides Luna Snow and Invisible Woman, but early signs look promising.
Marvel Rivals Patch Notes for season 2.5
Netease has now released the full portnotitions for Marvel -rivals Season 2.5. It outlines a lot of bug fixes for heroes such as Black Panther and Emma Frost, while it also gives some information about the new functions that come to onion and adjustment. You can read the full patch -notes here.
Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 New Card
Hellfire Gala: Arakko is added as a new card in season 2.5. It is the cave of the villain X-tron and has many bad machines and robot-like constructions embedded in hard, cold stone.
As you would expect, it is a dark, caverneous spot, with glowing red lights and a hard, led soundtrack. It will be interesting to see how Arakko performs as a card in competitive mode and joins Krakoa as the new additions of this season.

Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Ranked Changes
There are not many changes to the ranked game in season 2.5, although there will be a new series of ranked rewards to earn and a new Konvooi card in Arakko.
The reward for achieving Gold Tier 3 by the end of the season is the Ultron – Golden Ultron Skin, which we still have to see. There are all new honor for grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and Top 500 to earn. At the moment there has been no announcement of a rank reset, although this can be changed as we get closer to the launch day.

I put hundreds of hours in it Rivals Since the launch, mainly Venom, which I now have a Lord rank. I generally play a competitive mode with a normal team that floats around the top of the Platinas layer. So far I have usually held on to the roles of forefront and strategist, so I am absolutely excited to get ultron in my hands. There will also be buffs for Magneto and Doctor Strange, two characters that I absolutely like to play as.
