Mathys Tel has become the youngest player to ever score for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga after his goal in his side’s 2-2 draw against Stuttgart on Saturday.
At the age of 17 years and 136 days, Tel opened the scoring with a clean strike after a ball from Alphonso Davies.
The French forward broke the record set by Jamal Musiala, who was 69 days older when he scored against Schalke two years ago.

Tel signed for Bayern from Rennes for £25million this summer and have already made a significant impact.
He became the club’s youngest goalscorer in a competitive game, aged 17 years and 126 days, when he scored against Viktoria Koln in the DFB-Pokal last month.
Tel opened the scoring for Bayern when they drew 2-2 in their league game against Stuttgart
Tel broke the record previously set by Jamal Musiala, who was 69 days older when he scored against Schalke two years ago
Tel is used to breaking records – when he became their youngest ever debutant in Rennes at 16 years and 110 days.
Bayern are currently third in the Bundesliga after a draw against Stuttgart.
After Tel gave them the lead, Bayern got the equalizer in the 57th minute, with Chris Fuhrich scoring for Stuttgart.
Musiala restored Bayern’s lead, but a late penalty from Serhou Guirassy leveled Stuttgart.
Tel, a France under-18 international, played for the Rennes first team last season and certainly looks at home on the senior podium.
