- Nintendo has confirmed his presence on Gamescom 2025
- The annual gaming event will take place in Germany at the end of August
- A whole series of Nintendo Switch 2 games will probably be pronounced
Nintendo has confirmed that it will return to Gamescom this year. The annual event based in Cologne, Germany, is one of the largest on the gaming calendar.
And now the Nintendo Switch 2 Will be out of the time that Gamescom takes place between 20 and 24 August, it is something of a no -brainer for the company to be present this year.
The news was confirmed by Nintendo’s official German X / Twitter account. With the help of the built -in translation function of the website, the message reads: “Mark your agenda in red: Nintendo comes back to Gamescom in 2025. We look forward to welcome you in Cologne from 20 to 24 August!”
Now, if you hoped for an overview of what Nintendo Switch 2 Games will be shown on the Nintendo stand, which is unfortunately not yet confirmed. It will probably be an overview of the usual suspects, especially Metroid Prime 4: Beyond If that game is not released by the time that Gamescom occurs. Upcoming releases from third parties such as Hades 2 And Borderlands 4 Can also make a potential appearance.
Although I know for sure Mario Kart World And Donkey Kong Bananza Will also be playable (although they were launched before August), Gamescom is also a great opportunity to view an example of games prior to their release. That makes me wonder if we can expect another Nintendo Direct presentation somewhere between the launch of 5 June of Switch 2 and the dates of Gamescom Late August.
Is the news of Nintendo’s presence at Gamescom this year surprising? No, not really. The company broke the event last year, presumably because it didn’t have much to present at the time for the Aging Nintendo Switch -hardware. Now that it has a fresh new console on the block, a return to the largest gaming event in Europe should be a given.
