Meet Perrie Sian, the mega-influencer and Molly-Mae’s buddy who fights cruel trolls
PRIMARK, Zara and H&M are happy to see her, because she is a real fashion queen.
Perrie Sian Walker is an influencer with 1.5 million followers. She is known for her fittings where she poses in hundreds of pounds worth of clothing purchased from major retailers.
But all that attention has also put her in the spotlight, with some fans now linking her to Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s high-profile split.
Molly-Mae announced on Instagram last month that she had ended her relationship after five years. The story was cryptic and caused many rumors.
Perrie, 32, was subsequently accused by a number of internet trolls of being the girl the professional boxer was ‘cheating’ on her with. She quickly denied the allegations, calling them ‘ridiculous’.
Perrie broke onto the social media scene as an influencer in 2017, when Instagram borders were still hip and discount codes were quickly becoming popular.
Her feed was dominated by photos of her in trendy outfits on picturesque streets.
But despite her meteoric rise to fame and the title of Creative Director of fast fashion label In The Style, she was still deeply in debt two years ago.
Perrie made a loss of £60,097 in November 2022, according to Companies House documents for her company PW Ventures Ltd.
She owed £128,069 to her creditors and had only £63,426 in current assets.
But within a year, the mega-influencer not only managed to get out of debt, but also made record profits.
She ended 2023 with a whopping £153,289 in the bank.
PW Ventures Ltd had current assets of £336,446 at November last year, a staggering increase of £273,020 from 2022.
But how was Perrie able to turn the tide so drastically?
Who is Perrie Sian?
Perrie Sian is one of the UK’s biggest influencers.
The 32-year-old Bedfordshire woman worked in a call centre before her career on social media took off.
She created her Instagram account in 2014, but her profile only really became popular in 2017.
She now has no fewer than 1.5 million followers on Instagram and over 711,000 on TikTok.
Fans flock to her profiles for try-on hauls showcasing the latest fashion trends, as well as styling tips.
Perrie followed in the footsteps of Stacey Solomon, Jac Jossa and Billie Faiers by signing multiple collections with fast fashion giant In The Style.
Due to the huge success of her edits, she was appointed the brand’s first-ever Creative Director by fashion bosses in July 2023.
She is in a long-term relationship with Ricci Mandal and the couple got engaged in July 2023.
A quick glance at her TikTok account reveals a sea of Primark purchases that have been viewed over a million times, with some lasting as long as seven minutes.
The fashion influencer is a confessed shopaholic and has built a loyal following by promoting fast fashion trends before they became mainstream.
If it’s going to be trendy, Perrie would probably be one of the first influencers to promote it.
Her most popular video format is ‘new in hauls’, focusing on what retailers on the high street are offering for the coming season.
Perrie knows what style her audience is looking for and promotes this style like no other influencer.
Just last week she posed in £440 worth of Zara autumn clothes in an Instagram reel that has racked up over 25,000 likes in just ONE day.
Earlier this month she bagged a Primark bargain and said this is her ‘favourite season’ to shop at the bargain store.
With over a million British women hanging on her every word and wanting to know where her clothes come from, it’s not hard to imagine Perrie will be doing a lot of deals with her brand in 2023.
In addition to regularly promoting new items at Primark, Zara and H&M, she has worked on advertisements for GymShark, Calzedonia and Karen Millen.
The social media star also released a number of collections with her long-time collaborator In The Style.
I am so proud to announce that I am the Creative Director of In The Style! It is a dream come true to take this next step in my career after two incredible years designing my fashion collections with the brilliant team
Perrie Sian
She first began working with the label, which also boasts big influencer friends Stacey Solomon and Jac Jossa, in 2021.
At the time, Perrie only had 100,000 followers on Instagram and was not yet the go-to girl for fast fashion trends.
In July 2023, she was appointed In The Style’s first Creative Director by the brand’s bosses, after bringing about 24 collaborations in two years.
But with so much attention inevitably comes negative attention.
Despite being good friends with 25-year-old Molly-Mae and the pair going on a skiing holiday together in April, Perrie was accused of being the girl Tommy cheated with.
Rumors of the professional boxer’s infidelity began circulating after the Love Island couple’s split was announced on August 14.
And some trolls were quick to target Perrie.
“Perrie is friends with Molly-Mae and is often at their house,” fans speculated on TikTok after Hague and Fury’s split was announced.
“I think people found it strange that she wasn’t part of the crew that came straight over.”
Another claimed Perrie had been noticeably “quite flirty with Tommy” in Molly-Mae’s YouTube vlog from their group holiday in April.
Perrie, who already has a long-term partner to whom she got engaged in July last year, was quick to dismiss the rumours as “ridiculous”.
“I have NO idea where [the rumour] came from,” the influencer wrote on TikTok.
“The internet is scary.”
