Formula E is a motor sport championship for electric cars and is the only number of net-zero event.

The championship has 16 races in 10 world cities and was the first worldwide sport to be certified in 2020 with a net zero cool footprint.

Rowland is not wrong when he says that he likes to “do his talk on the track” with the 32-year-old who storms the title this season.

He leads the championship at no less than 161 points, 77 points above the second place Antonio Felix da Costa.

Away from the track, the Nissan driver is quiet and reserved, which prefers roasting his many victories with a “few beers” with his narrow circle.

He is a dedicated father for his daughter Harper who is often seen in the Nissan garage or on his lap when conducting interviews.

In April 2017, Rowland was signed with the role of developmental driver of the Renault F1 team.

A year later, Rowland was confirmed as the official junior driver of Williams Martini Racing.

Then Ticktum

The 25-year-old Cupra Kiro driver from London can no longer be different than Rowland.

Ticktum carries his heart on his sleeve and is not afraid to give his opinion on the team radio or in interviews after the race.

Over the years, he has built up a bit of a reputation as the bad boy of Motor Sport and went viral for a rant loaded in Jeddah last season – but it seems that he found his home in Formula E.

Ticktum rubbed shoulders with Lando Norris during his go -karting days and spent time on the academies of both Williams and Red Bull.

His future looks bright in Formula E after taking his very first stage in Tokyo.

Ticktum was banned from motor sport for a year for ignoring a security car to deliberately crash in a karting rival.

Twickenham-born Bird, 38, is an experienced McLaren driver who was once world champion Michael Schumacher’s student seven times.

Sam joined Mercedes as a test driver for four years in 2010, went to most races and did a lot of Simwerk.

When Mercedes returned to F1 in 2010, it coincided with Schumacher, who made a comeback himself.

Schumacher was Bird’s youth hero and the couple once even went to diving with heaven.

Bird is not half bad at football and played like a young person for AFC Wimbledon before she turns them off for a career in motorsport.

He has two dogs, Buddy and Beer, one is a cavapoo and the other a Golden Doodle and has a relationship with former Love Island star Jess Impiazzi.

Brummie driver Hughes is a classic example of the saying that you can get the boy from Birmingham, but not Birmingham from the boy.

The Maserati driver is a die-hard Aston Villa fan that chooses to take porridge to the track every morning for his Brekky.

He loves cats and owns two called Benny and Ollie, nicknamed Boo Boo and Bear, with his fiancé Abby at their house.

Hughes won the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 championship and has won several races in Formula 3.

Taylor Barnard

The 20-year-old with a baby face was born and raised in Norwich and forges a name for himself with the Formula E team of McLaren.

On 19 years and 331 days, Barnard became the youngest competitive driver in the 10-year history of the series.

In his junior career, Barnard finished second with Andrea Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes in both the ADAC German Formula 4 championship of 2022 and the Regional Middle Eastern Championship 2023.

Jake Dennis is the most recent British FE champion

The 29-year-old Dennis competes for Andretti and is the most recent British FE champion and wins the title of 2022-23.

He was born in Nuneaton and debuted in Karting at Acht and won the Junior British Championship in 2010.

In 2016, Dennis debuted in GP3, won two races, achieved fourth place in the last classification with Charles Leclerc Claim the title.

Dennis, who lives in Monaco, loves his pet Chihuahua Billy with the Pooch who is often seen who accompanies him on a private jet to races.
