Meghan Markle wore an effortlessly elegant ensemble worth £30,937 as she attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex opted for a sophisticated look in a custom-made, sleeveless halter neck dress ‘Edda’ by luxury Italian brand Giuliva Heritage, priced at £1,050.
According to the brand’s website, the timeless piece, made from a sustainable blend of cotton and wool, was crafted in six hours of “pure craftsmanship.”
The mother-of-two teamed the dress with her £725 brown Caroline Herrera handbag and matching £620 heels from one of her favourite brands, Aquazzura.
She completed her look with a pair of classic £92 Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses and her essential jewellery, including her £21,400 gold Cartier Tank Française watch and a £7,050 yellow gold ‘Love’ bracelet from the same brand.

Meghan styled her raven-black locks in loose curls and opted for a summery, dewy makeup look that accentuated her Californian tan.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in honour of Kelly McKee Zajfen’s late son George.
The event for the Alliance for Children’s Rights was in memory of George, who died in July 2022 at the age of nine after being found unconscious in his parents’ home.
Meghan is known to be good friends with Zajfen, co-founder of the alliance that supports pregnant and parenting teens in the foster care system in Los Angeles.
In a post on Instagram on Prince Harry’s birthday – the day after the tennis match – model Zajfen and her family thanked the Sussexes for their support during the match on Saturday.
Alongside five photos, they wrote at the end of a lengthy message: ‘An extra special day too… HAPPY 40th birthday H! May this trip around the sun be the best one yet.’
Other stars in attendance at the tournament included Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott, New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel, Scrubs actor Zach Braff and Meghan’s friend and former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, the report said. People.

The Zajfen family wrote that it was an “incredible day – full of emotions and so much love” and that the money raised would “go directly to supporting children in foster care so they can have the legal protections, resources and opportunities they deserve in honor of our beautiful son Georgie.”
Their post continued: ‘Our community turned out in a big way and I am so impressed! Get ready for days of posting photos from this magical afternoon as I have so many people to thank and shout from the rooftops about how amazing you all are!
“But first, to our sponsors, the Archewell Foundation. The tournament, which has been held for 20 years but was recently renamed in honor of George, consisted of a round-robin doubles match and a lunch.
The Duchess has supported Zajfen in her grief since George’s death. Zajfen previously described Meghan as an “incredible friend and mother”, adding that she is “always the first to say yes and support those you love”.

Harry, who lives in California after abdicating the monarchy, celebrated his birthday on Sunday with Meghan and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The chosen photo of Harry – taken when he was still a working royal in 2018 – was taken during a visit to a start-up in Dublin with Meghan sitting next to him, but she has been cropped out.
Harry is entering his 40th year, a period that has been a rollercoaster ride of 365 days for the royal family. Both the King and Princess of Wales are diagnosed with cancer.
When the King’s shocking health news broke in February, Harry rushed across the Atlantic to visit him, but his meeting with his father lasted just 45 minutes.
In comments to the BBC, the Duke said: “I was anxious about my 30th birthday but I’m looking forward to my 40th birthday,” and described how fatherhood had given him a new purpose to “make the world a better place.”
Harry tried his luck with the skeleton bobsleigh this year when training with Invictus Games competitors in Canada, and has made near-royal tours to Colombia and Nigeria.
In Colombia, Meghan spoke to a panel about Afro-descendants and power, where she spoke about how her three-year-old daughter Lili had “completely found her voice.”
The couple also relaunched their website Archewell, calling it Sussex.com. The name became The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Harry travelled to London in May to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games and attended a service at St Paul’s Cathedral, but did not meet his brother and father.

Meanwhile, The Sunday Times reported that his legal battle with the Home Office over his safety while in the UK had left the king “frustrated”.
Harry lost a High Court case against the Home Office in February over a decision to change the level of personal security he receives when he visits the UK. He has now been given the green light to appeal.
