After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family wanted to set up a show of unity.

But their show choice has been described by Kate as’ one of the most difficult things she has ever had to do – And since then, Meghan can no longer be seen on British soil.

During the national mourning period, Prince Harry And Prince William observed the tribute and spoke with members of the public outside of Windsor Castle – Just as they had Buckingham Palace outside, their mother died.

But this time the brothers were completely mature men and also married, each walk next to their partner. What is even more important, they were now alienated because the Sussexes had left the company dramatically two years earlier in January 2020.

The Walkabout September 2022 marked two and a half years since the couples were last seen together in public, at the Commonwealth Day Service just before the Covid Pandemic.

The RoyalsOnce called the ‘Fab Four’, applause were greeted while they walked past the gates Windsor Castle together. But despite what the photos would make you believe, the couples only briefly came together at the beginning and end of the engagement.

During the rest of the walkabout, which lasted about 30 minutes, the Wales and the Sussexes seemed to put in their pairs.

It was no secret that there was tension between the brothers and their partners – but there was hope that this moving reunion would be a chance of reconciliation.

But at a meaningful moment, Kate was caught on the camera who flashed an intense sparkle to Meghan before she quickly turned her expression into a big smile for the crowd.

Body language expert Katia Loisal said she believed that Kate’s ‘icy stare’ hit the confidence from Meghan.

“In contrast to the self -assured Meghan we know, Meghan seemed bad during this meeting, which is not surprising, given the recent criticism with which she has had to deal,” Katia said Seven news.

The Walkabout had arrived at a challenging time for the two couples. The previous October the Sussexes released their documentary Harry & Meghan: an African journey where they spilled details about their intense media research and the rumors of royal gorges.

Their Tell-All interview with Oprah Winfrey was broadcast in March 2021 in which they made shocking accusations, including racism, against the royal family.

Katia claimed that Kate’s actions in Windsor Castle seemed like she was trying to ‘freeze’ Meghan.

“On various occasions Meghan looked at Kate, but the gaze was not answered,” said Katia.

The expert noted that Kate chose to ‘view’ Meghan instead.

It is not surprising that Meghan hoped for some reassurance from Kate, who might be ready to give the new Meghan advice.

Kate’s lack of warmth towards Meghan seemed to make her feel insecure and uncomfortable, Katia said, That can be seen in the way she stooped her head, silk and away from Kate.

“Meghan’s hand hesitated hesitantly as if he wanted to wave, but stopped the medium air, rather pausing to adjust her hair, lowered her head and can before she looked and gave a fast wave, her arm came back to rest in a partial arm barrier,” Katia said.

Meghan’s body language did not go unnoticed by Harry, according to Katia, who gently touched her arm and came by her side to protect her.

Communication and body language expert Judi James spoke with MailOnline about the surprise of the FAB Four.

While the foursome tried to set up a show of unity while they greeted grieving people who had turned out to be the deceased queen, Judi stated that there were “no signs of affection” between the two pairs.

She said: ‘This is a phenomenal and unexpected scene that shows some natural caution and clumsiness in body language.

‘Although it seems to be a declaration of intent as something of a loving tribute to the queen and in some respects the new king, who was perhaps the first step to speak about his love for Harry and Meghan in his recent speech.

‘The four lines together to suggest a form of unity and it is William, with his puffed breast and air of trust that looks like the leader and instigator.

“Harry performs some clothing on the clothing, but Meghan seems to be present to offer comfort, support and encouragement.”

While the four came out of their vehicle, the couples spoke with Paul Sedgwick, deputy Ranger of Winsor Park.

At one point during the conversation, Harry stepped back to Meghan, and the couple listened as he was locked up in a hug, with the arm of the Duke around his wife’s waist.

They started walking, the two men stood side by side, while their wives flanked them on the outside. While William and Harry seemed to make a short chat, Kate and Meghan looked straight ahead.

And sometimes Kate seemed to be at some distance from the group.

“Kate looks somewhat distance, although she is close to William when the couples split a little,” said Judi.

When they reached the gates, the two couples stopped to look at some of the flower tribute that remains by benefactors.

Harry and Meghan stayed close to each other at the start of the event, and often when they were divorced, to hold hands on each other.

According to Judi: ‘When the couple beat Harry’s hands down while Meghan’s are curled around his palm, with her thumb gently with his hand.

“She plays touches on his back and small strokes and other tie sets and there are a few moments when she is the one looking for communication with William and Kate.”

It seems that Meghan had forgotten the right royal etiquette, which dictates the more senior royals, in this case William and Kate, is ahead of junior members.

Images of the opportunity seem to show that Harry has to withdraw his wife with his arm and slow down his walking pace so that she did not hold his older brother.

“It is an adult approach to the new Prince of Wales and it could have broken a lot of ice in terms of their body language at the funeral and beyond.”

For just a short walk there was certainly a lot to unpack.

As the months and years continue this memorable day, the question remains when – and / or – Meghan will return to the UK – remnants.

Maybe this tense engagement was just too much.
