Member of chain crew in Raiders-Ravens game collapses, receives CPR before being carried out on a stretcher

A sideline official collapsed, was given CPR and later carried off the field on a stretcher on the Baltimore Ravens’ sideline in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The official, who was working the first-down chain marker, was seen waving his hand and moving his mouth as he was being carried.
A member of the chain gang crew collapsed. He was immediately treated by medical personnel. When he left the field, he was alert and responsive. He is being transported to a local hospital.

On the field, Ravens and Raiders players quickly knelt as Baltimore medical personnel attended to the referee and performed CPR.
The incident occurred at 2:36 in the second quarter, while a play was under replay challenge. According to a member of the Ravens’ public relations team, the chain gang member was alert and responsive when he was taken to a local hospital.
The match was stopped for approximately 10 minutes due to the incident and then resumed.
