Mi Smart Band 7 alleged BIS certifications point to an imminent launch in India
The Mi Smart Band 7 (or Xiaomi Band 7) has reportedly received certification from the Bureau of India Standards (BIS), suggesting that the wearable will be launched in India soon. The fitness band has already been spotted on multiple certification websites including NCC and IMDA, and its alleged European pricing has also been revealed. The band was launched in China last month with a large display and several health monitoring features including heart rate monitoring and SpO2 measurement.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the non-NFC version of the Mi Smart Band 7 (or tipped known as Xiaomi Band 7), has received BIS certification with model number M2129B1. The listing doesn’t reveal anything except that it could be launching in India soon. It has also been spotted on certification websites like Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and NCC, and its European pricing has also reportedly leaked.
The successor to the Mi Smart Band 6, the Mi Smart Band 7, was launched in China last month. It was reported that it would launch alongside the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, but it appears the wearable will debut earlier.

The Mi Smart Band 7 features a 1.62-inch full screen AMOLED touch Always-On display which is claimed to offer 25 percent more viewable area compared to the Mi Smart Band 6. Xiaomi has also packed in support for over 100 customizable band faces and several health-related features. These features include heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, SpO2 monitoring and female health tracking.
The Mi Smart Band 7 supports a total of 120 sports modes and four professional sports data analyses such as recovery time, training load, and more. It is claimed to have a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge, is 5ATM water-resistant and has a magnetic port for charging. The band comes with Bluetooth v5.2 and NFC for connectivity, and it supports call and message notifications.
