Microsoft has launched A new version of Microsoft 365 that runs completely on-premises, designed for low latency and high protection needs, which are performed at Azure Local.
The company has detailed how the update made workload possible to be implemented in data centers or sovereign cloud environments – a reaction to the growing desire to more controlled environments worldwide.
By launching on-Prem versions of M365, Redmond wants to improve safety, compliance and governance, with a special emphasis on European customers who must meet the regulations for data on sovereignty.
M365 can now be performed on-Prem in sovereign environments
One of the most important components of Redmond’s sovereign cloud is a sovereign public cloud, a sovereign private cloud and national partner clouds.
The public version is available in all European data center regions and ensures that data remains in Europe, according to European law and are only checked by European employees. The product is in an example, but must generally be available later this year.
The private cloud goes one step further and uses Azure Local as a basis for on-prem and partner-exploited environments. It is aimed at organizations that need operational autonomy and Air-Happy systems.
Finally, national partner clouds such as the French Bleu and the German Delos Cloud are designed to further comply with the local sovereignty standard within the EU.
Microsoft 365 Local only runs on Azure Local – the substantiation for Microsoft’s private Sovereign Cloud. “Microsoft 365 Local offers extra choice by bringing Microsoft’s productivity server software together in a local Azure environment that can be fully executed in a customer’s own data center,” the company explained.
Speaking of the current “geopolitical volatility” and the desire of Microsoft to offer “digital stability” added, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer Judson Althoff is proud to offer the widest set of sovereignty solutions available in the market for new ways to worry to provide new ways to make care of new ways to worm to make any ways to make care of new ways to make care of new ways to worm ways of getting care of new ways of worming ways to worm ways of worming ways to worm ways to worm ways to make care of new ways of worming ways of worming ways of worming ways of worm ways of worm ways of worming ways of worm ways of worm ways of worming ways of worming ways of worming ways of worming ways of worming ways to care for new ways ways ways ways.
