In one of the strangest developments with Windows 11 in a while, testopbuilingen of the operating system are temporarily affected by a bug that has changed the start -up noise.
That is the soundbite that is played when the desktop appears for the first time, and instead of the usual Windows 11 -Ditty, testers in the beta and dev -channels had started their PCs to hear the noise of Windows Vista (And Windows 7) instead of.

Why did this happen? Xeno, the Windows tester that marked this as a bug on x (see the above message Spotted by Tom’s Hardware), received confirmation of MicrosoftBrandon Leblanc, a senior product manager for Windows at the company, that it is indeed a glitch.
But not for Leblanc joke: “I went inside and had fun with the sound files in Windows and thought that people from the past needed an explosion 😉 You said how much you loved Vista.”
When someone responded to say that they could not say if Leblanc was joking or not, the Microsoft -Exec clarified that it is indeed a real bug, which means that the startup sound of Windows Vista plays.
Analysis: Clippy Conundrum
How can such a bug come in possible? It is certainly not possible, although I think Leblanc means that someone rumbled with the startup sound and accidentally implemented the change for Windows 11 testers, while they didn’t want to do that.
Probably, although it may be the case that old characteristics of long-dead Windows operating systems can indeed randomly manifest in Windows 11. In which case, testers, look forward to Clippy By accident later this year. Or the icons on the desktop suddenly return to how they looked into it Windows 3.1maybe. Who knows where the dizzying merry -go -round of nostalgic glitching can lead us after this?

So, the Vista Startup sound that accidentally appears here to strengthen that specific piece of shade is, we will say, an interesting coincidence. I mean bug. Yes – definitely an interesting bug.
