Box icon Mike McCallum died at the age of 68.
Known as “The Bodysnatcher”, McCallum won world title tires in three different weight categories.

According to the Jamaica ObserverMcCallum fell ill while traveling to the gym and was forced to pull the way off the road.
He turned out not to respond and later pronounced.
Jamaica’s sport minister, Olivia Grange, confirmed the sad news.
Grange said: “It is with complete and complete sadness that I heard of the death of the triple world of Jamaica box Champion Michael McKenzie McCallum.
“I press my personal participation in his mother, brothers and sisters and his children.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Sport, I take this opportunity to extend our sympathies to the family and friends of this legendary Jamaican.”
McCallum ended his professional boxing career with an impressive record of 55 fights, 49 victories, 36 by Ko, five losses and one draw.
He held the WBA light middleweight, the WBA middleweight and the WBC Light Heavyweight Belts during his career.
Moreover, he was also a gold medal winner on 1978 Commonwealth Games and 1978 Central -America and Caribbean Games – Both on good weight.
McCallum was the 18th hunter in the Boxing History for men to become a triple champion and the very first Jamaican who became a world champion in boxing.
He was best known in the Ring because of his devastating Body Bumps, which gave him his “Bodysnatcher” nickname.
