Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Fight: What time can you watch live on Netflix tonight

Veteran boxer Mike Tyson will take on Jake Paul, who rose to fame as a YouTuber and has turned his hand to boxing.

After achieving legendary status in the ring as a heavyweight champion with a career that began in the 1980s, Tyson retired professionally in 2005 and then laced up his gloves to play exhibition matches for a few years. The 58-year-old’s last fight was in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr., another former world champion. Paul, who is 27, has been training for months and wants to win. Their training journey is captured in the Netflix documentary, Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson.

On Thursday evening, Tyson punched Paul in the face during the pair’s standoff at the weigh-in after the latter crawled onto the stage, stepped on Tyson’s foot and got in his face. Now fans can’t wait for the bell to ring on tonight’s event.

Paul and Tyson have been promoting this Netflix match all year, which was postponed from its original date of July 20. The event will be broadcast live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and will feature a series of preliminary matches before the main card on Friday night.

In-ring commentary will be provided by Roy Jones Jr., Mauro Ranallo and Rosie Perez. Sean Wheelock will serve as rules and scoring expert, with Mark Calo-oy as referee. The heavyweight fight between Paul and Tyson will last eight rounds, each lasting two minutes, and is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a professional fight. So there is a score, but there is no title. Instead, these fighters face each other to make money.
