Millions of Australians receive a cash boost when the minimum wage, super annuation and paid changes in parental leave will come into effect next month.
From 1 July the minimum wage will be increased by 3.5 percent, from $ 24.10 per hour to $ 24.95 per hour, with more than 2.6 million Aussies.
The new rate will have a total of $ 948 per week, based on a working week of 38 hours, after the decision of the Fair Work Commission was taken over earlier this month.
Nearly 10 million Aussies will also receive an automatic boost for their pension savings next month, because the rate of the Superannuation warranty increases from 11.5 percent to 12 percent.
It means that employers will pay $ 317 extra $ 317 on employees every year on average.
In total that can mean an extra $ 132,000 in super for young Australians by the time they retire.
The federal government is also starting to pay super on its paid arrangement for parental leave, whereby the change applies to parents who pay parental leave on or after 1 July.
The scheme is also expanding, with the amount of the leave funded by the government that increases from 20 weeks to 22 weeks to July 1 – part of the plan of the Labor Government to expand it to 26 weeks in July next year.

From 1 July, the payments of Services Australia will also be indexed (adjusted in accordance with inflation) by 2.4 percent.
Paid parental leave, family tax benefit A and B, the newborn supplement and multiple birth cooling all receive a modest increase, which affects approximately 2.4 million Australians.
For example, a family that receives a family tax benefit will, for example, an extra $ 5 per fourteen days.
Parents with triplets receive an extra $ 120 per year, while parents of a newborn child will drop an extra $ 48 extra for 13 weeks.
Minister of Social Provisions Tanya Plibersek described indexation as a ‘crucial way to help families when the costs of living increases’.
“Millions of recipients of social security payments will see more money in their bank account,” said Plibersek.
However, the activist limits and income thresholds will also increase by 2.4 percent.
This means that some earlier recipients do not qualify for job seeker payment, youth allowance, Austudy, Abstudy Living Toyance, parenting payment, special benefit and parenting payment single.
The July indexing has no influence on the payments of young people and students, which are indexed every year in January.
