Model mocked for happily dancing next to her elderly boyfriend’s hospital bed as she prepares to inherit his fortune
A model has been branded ‘shameless’ for happily dancing at her elderly boyfriend’s hospital bedside after being named in his will.
The video of 22-year-old Bronwin Aurora is believed to be a prank as her boyfriend, 85, appears healthy in more recent videos. She also regularly jokes about the decades-long age difference.
But hundreds of commentators have criticized her, with one saying: ‘This is what happens when children are raised by peers and the internet rather than adults. Constantly acting like fools for attention.”
Many people said a repeat of “I hope he cuts her out of the will,” and some referred to him as her grandfather.
One response read: ‘I hope the family sees this and changes the will. 1 cent sounds appropriate.’ Another wrote: ‘I would immediately take her out of the will! Ungrateful little b****.”
Many others used the video to highlight TikTok’s dangerous stranglehold on young, impressionable people. One commenter called it “another ad for not using TikTok.”
The video, posted by the Toronto model and captioned: “Guys, I have the will, should I pull the plug?”, was viewed just over 122 thousand times on TikTok. But then the time had come reposted TikTok’s X account Libs saw it viewed more than a million times.
It took about a minute for the shots to flow in.
The video, captioned as being in his will, was initially posted to TikTok and gained traction after being shared by Libs of TikTok on
Critics accused her of insensitivity, with many calling for her removal from the will and referring to the friend as her grandfather.
One person wrote: ‘This is what social media does to people. The good thing is that the internet has been around forever and she has shown her true colors and everyone can see her for the heartless person she is. I hope he removed her from the will after that.”
Another said: ‘Hopefully the man still had enough energy to pick up the phone and call his lawyer after witnessing this waste.’
And a third commented: ‘One of the most shameful things I’ve seen on this app and that’s saying a lot. Reminiscent of the old Twilight Zone episode where the family waits for the man to die.”
The model has often joked about herself and her relationship.
She regularly posts videos of herself dancing for her boyfriend, who often uses a stick and dances, including the criticism she hears, such as, “He’s old enough to be your grandpa” and “You’re only with him for his money.” ‘
She often shares videos of herself dancing in front of her boyfriend, who regularly uses a cane, while issuing general criticisms of their relationship.
She acknowledged the generation-wide divide between herself and her partner in a separate video, saying, “Age is literally just a number.”
“I love him for who he is as a person, and he loves me for who I am as a person…obviously.”
She would not say how long she and her boyfriend have been dating.
It is unclear who her boyfriend is and what she gains if he dies. But her videos suggest she likes to joke about the age difference.
But her viewers don’t seem to get the joke.
A video she posted this summer shows her happily walking and dancing next to her boyfriend, without using a cane this time, with a follower’s comment splashing across the screen saying, “There’s sick and then there’s sick’ [green sick emoji for emphasis]. That is the biggest daddy syndrome I have ever seen.”
The hate hasn’t slowed her down, though, as she posted a suggestive clip to her Instagram page about 24 hours later.
The couple seems to put up with criticism, with her boyfriend regularly appearing in her humorous videos and highlighting their differences. He even dances next to her in several.
And in several other stores, she is happily outside the boutiques carrying shopping bags from designer stores with her boyfriend, who she says paid for everything.
Her boyfriend does not appear to have a social media presence himself and it is not clear if he has other family members who also expect to be included in his will.
