Molly-Mae accidentally gave a £2.7k coat to a charity shop, so she spent money on a new one

MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed she accidentally donated her favourite £2,700 coat to the charity shop, leaving her with a new one to buy.

The 25-year-old influencer, who recently caused a stir with her split from ex-fiancé Tommy Fury, previewed her brand new clothing brand Maebe over the weekend, with fans flocking to London to get a sneak peek of the collection.

Molly, Bambi’s mother, has always been interested in fashion and visited the Fashion Retail As a teenager I studied at the Academy in London.

The former Love Islander has an impressive wardrobe and often causes a stir when she shows off her stylish looks to her 8.3 million followers on Instagram.

However, the Hertfordshire-born star revealed she made a huge mistake when she accidentally donated her favourite item of clothing to charity.

When SheerLuxe asked her what her favorite item in her wardrobe is, Molly revealed that she is obsessed with her camel hair. Max Mara Teddy Coat.

The coat costs £2,670 and is made from camel hair and silk.

It features an oversized fit, a double-breasted closure and dropped sleeves.

The coat is available in sizes extra small to large and can be purchased on the Max Mara website or in stores such as Selfridges.

Molly described the coat as a ‘winter essential’ and she’s often seen wearing it in photos on her Instagram page.

However, she said that the coat had once ended up in the thrift store pile when she was cleaning out.

Fans react to sky-high prices!

“The first time I [the coat]“I was sorting through it and it ended up in a pile at the thrift store,” she told SheerLuxe.

“One lucky person could have bought it for around £25, so I hope they know what they’ve bought.

“I missed it so much I had to buy it again.”

Molly-Mae previously revealed that her favourite item from her new Maebe collection is a light grey blazer.

Molly-Mae’s first collection is characterised by sleek, chic designs.

The influencer amassed 400,000 followers within minutes of launching her new business page on Instagram.

The light grey jacket, which is oversized and features pockets, is one of Molly-Mae’s favourites, as revealed exclusively to The Sun.

She told us: “The Ultimate Blazer is definitely my favourite. It’s the piece I was most excited about when we were designing the collection.

“The quality is beautiful and I know I will wear this garment again and again.”

The brand’s official launch statement states that it wants to make luxury clothing accessible to all women.

“Get ready for Maebe,” it reads. “The UK’s most beloved influencer, Molly-Mae Hague, steps into a new role: founder and visionary of a contemporary womenswear brand poised to make elevated style an accessible luxury for a new generation.

“Maebe was born from a deep understanding of evolving style and the desire to create a completely covetable collection. Maebe embodies a modern approach to dressing.”

She told The Sun: “The Ultimate Blazer is definitely my favourite. It’s the piece I was most excited about when we were designing the collection.

She wore the smart-casual piece with jeans and a white T-shirt as she recently posed for an Instagram selfie at her office.

The Filter founder also showed it off to her fans during an outing earlier this week. in the summer, by combining it with a neat sweater and trousers.

However, until her announcement, fans were unaware that it was her own line.
