One mother turned to the world of mythical creatures to find inspiration for her baby name.

One poster shared a text message from a friend on Reddit, saying, “I’m speechless.”

The text read: ‘A name yet?

“Kaylee names her baby Gremlin.

“I don’t like it, but it’s her baby.”

The post went viral and was flooded with comments from Reddit users, many of whom were unimpressed by the name choice.

One person said: “It’s actually cruel to name your child that.”

A second person said: ‘Does she hate her unborn child?

“She didn’t even give him a chance.”

A third person said: “Gremlin is what I call my kids when they misbehave.”
