Her unnamed mother told local media that her daughter “miraculously” survived.

She said the locomotive crew was not to blame for the incident. The rescue was also facilitated by the fact that the electric train slowed down in front of the station, so the speed of the collision was low.

The mother added, “I also said to her, ‘If the express train was going too fast, you would have been smashed to pieces like meat.’

“She will learn a lesson for life, 100 percent. The headphones were left there, on the tracks. I said: no more headphones. I have large headphones at home. Sit down and listen to music.’

The Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.

The next day, on the other side of Moscow Oblast, another woman was hit by a train at Shcherbinka train station.
