Moment when little one raises his father’s hopes with a gender reveal letter, but then he sees the real result
THIS is the moment an adorable toddler “raised her dad’s hopes” after she revealed the wrong gender reveal results.
Little Addison, three years old, was given the task of revealing the color of the icing on a white cake to see if she was having a brother or sister.

The adorable girl from Rutherglen, near Glasgow, had instructed her mother Demilee and father Greg to close their eyes while she took charge.
A short clip shows the excited parents dipping a clear glass into the cake to cut it, while Addison looks on.
A few seconds later she proudly announced “blue.”
Her parents looked stunned for a moment, before Greg saw the PINK icing and revealed, “It’s a girl. It’s a girl. It’s going to be a sister.”
The proud couple can then be seen holding back their laughter as little Addison says, “Mommy’s having a girl, you’re having a girl,” before turning to the cake and adding, “Are we going to eat it? Come on guys.”
Sharing the clip on TikTokDemilee – who is due on November 10 – said: “Our gender reveal. Not Addison getting Greg’s hopes up by saying it’s blue and then being too excited to eat the cake.”
She later told Fabulous: “She was just really excited to find out if she was having a brother or sister, but even more excited to eat the cake.
“We told her pink was for a girl and blue was for a boy. Then she got her father’s hopes up and said blue, even though it was pink.
“When she said that, he looked shocked. He thought it was a boy, but it turned out to be a girl.”
The adorable clip has since gone viral and has been viewed more than 260,000 times.
And people can’t get enough of Addison’s adorable comment: “Let’s eat it, boys.”
One said enthusiastically: “Let’s eat it guys. I’ve watched this 5 times, she’s hilarious. Congratulations.”
“Awww this is so cute!! Congratulations,” said a second.
A third said: “I love her, what a little doll.”
A fourth wrote: “She’s so sweet. ‘Let’s eat it boys’ – a girl after my own heart.”
“She said, okay we’re having a girl, but let’s get to the point,” a fifth joked.
Meanwhile, a sixth added: “No, this is brilliant. Congratulations guys, let’s eat it.”
Responding to the incredible support the video has received, Demilee said: “I didn’t expect it to go viral at all. I just posted it on my TikTok with my other family videos that I normally post.
“The response has been amazing. It was weird to see so many people watching TikTok, but it seems like most people enjoyed it.”
