Moment Woman Returns to Horror House After Being ‘Taken Care Of’ by House Sitter
Leaving your home unattended when you go away can be dangerous, but so can getting the wrong house sitter, as one woman discovered.
Monica Christina shared the disgusting scene she found when she came home, thanks to a very disrespectful house sitter.
On her @moncristina0 In her report she showed how the countertops were covered with moldy food scraps.
The sink was full of used dishes and everything looked complete.
Monica wrote: “I was recently away for a few days due to a family emergency and hired a house sitter as I needed to keep some things alive and was expecting a few important packages.
“I walked into my house and the stench I was met with, I honestly thought I was being pranked, lol.
“How can someone just leave your house?”
Monica showed how her carton of milk had been left outside the refrigerator, which had strangely been turned off. And then it turned out that the refrigerator had gone off.
She added: “For some reason the person had turned off my refrigerator. I don’t know why, everything is spoiled.”
She was forced to pour the milk down the sink and throw away a large amount of food, which annoyed the homeowner, who understandably “hates wasting food.”
Monica said she refused to pay the house sitter because of the mess they left behind.
She said in the comments: “I honestly saw red, it goes without saying the price for this service was £0 as I refused to pay.”
After the shocking experience, she said she had no intention of hiring a house sitter again.
She wrote: “Anyway, this was definitely a learning experience and I will never do it again.
“Every piece of cutlery and crockery was used.
“They also started using my toddler’s things.”
Her video received over a thousand likes and people were stunned by the chaos it caused.
One of them said, “Isn’t the purpose of a house sitter to keep your house from being vandalized?”
Monica joked, “I think my house sitter was broke.”
Another added: “I simply could never leave a house like this… I lived with a relative for a month and cleaned up every second it got a little messy.”
And a third commented: “Then it’s not just bad. That’s absolutely awful.
“To the extent that you could take them with you to court.
“I hope you don’t get sick from this.”
