Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) Leaked render shows larger camera module on the back

Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) has surfaced online. As the name suggests, the phone isn’t expected to launch until next year. However, a leaked render of the alleged handset has surfaced revealing the expected design of the Moto G Stylus (2024) successor. Rumors have it that the smartphone is likely to feature a larger camera module on the rear than the outgoing model. The current iteration of the Moto G Stylus was launched in May this year in select markets.

An Android head report has shared a design render of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025). It shows a design similar to the existing Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), but with a larger camera module on the back. The 2024 version has a dual camera unit on the back. The newly leaked render suggests that the 2025 variant will come equipped with a triple camera setup on the back.

A slightly raised rectangular island at the top-left corner of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025)’s rear panel appears with four cutouts. The report suggests that they will house triple cameras and an LED unit. The alleged handset’s flat display is seen with thin bezels and a slightly thicker chin. A centered punch-hole at the top of the display is expected to house the selfie camera.

The sides of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) remain flat, much like its predecessor, according to the leaked images. The volume rocker and power button can be seen on the right edge of the handset, while the left edge houses the SIM tray. Meanwhile, the opening for the stylus slot has been flipped to be placed at the bottom of the phone, similar to the existing model.

The report added that the phone could launch in May 2025, if the company follows its usual launch schedule. The Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) is reportedly codenamed Houston.

Notably, an earlier leak revealed the design of the Moto G Stylus (2025) with the codename Kansas and model number XT251V.

The existing Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) launched The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box.

In the camera department, the current Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) gets a dual camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera has a 32-megapixel sensor. The IP52-rated handset comes in a vegan leather finish and comes in Caramel Latte and Scarlet Wave colour options. It is priced at $399.99 (roughly Rs. 33,600) for the 8GB + 256GB option.
