Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will soon be launched in India, the company has officially confirmed. The smartphone is expected to debut as the top-end model in the company’s flagship series that includes the Edge 50 Pro and the recently launched Edge 50 Fusion. Ahead of the official launch, the key specifications of the handset have also been revealed via a microsite on Flipkart and it has been confirmed to come with artificial intelligence (AI) features.

In a after On X (formerly known as Twitter), Motorola India announced that its upcoming smartphone will be launched in the country on June 18. Meanwhile, a microsite for the launch of Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India, Flipkart has also been made available.
According to the microsite, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display is said to have a peak brightness of 2,500 nits and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
According to Motorola, the Edge 50 Ultra will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It’s also confirmed to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and supports Moto AI, the company’s suite of AI features including Magic Canvas that lets users generate AI images from text messages.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage, up from the 16GB of RAM available on the global variant. Motorola says it will come with three years of guaranteed OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates.
The phone supports up to 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. In addition, the smartphone offers 10W wireless power sharing, allowing users to charge other devices such as smartwatches and TWS earbuds.
According to Motorola, the Edge 50 Ultra will also come with Smart Connect feature, which allows users to stream apps to their PC, copy and paste text and images, share data between devices, and use the phone as a webcam.
It is confirmed to have a triple camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it will have a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera system is said to have AI features such as AI adaptive stabilization and 100x AI super zoom.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Price in India
Motorola is yet to officially announce the pricing of the Edge 50 Ultra in India. Notably, the global counterpart has been priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 89,000). It is confirmed to come in three colour options – Pantone-validated Peach Fuzz, Forest Grey (with a silicone vegan leather back panel), and a wood finish.
